Fractional RF Microneedling
What is Fractional RF MicroneedlingFractional RF microneedling (or skin needling),could best be described as a combination of a standard alone skin treatment and a HIFU treatment in that microneedles are used to emit a high-tensioned RF pulse onto the treatment area. The fractional RF thermolysis occurs in the target area and selectively degenerates the collagen fibres between the superficial dermis and muscle band. The collagen fibres deteriorate promoting the construction of new collagen through a stimulus of the fibroblasts.
The microneedles used to introduce the RF energy beneath the skin surface also stimulate natural collagen production, whilst allowing natural and fine channels to be created in the skin. The channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for treatment delivery deep into the skin. This is a similar effect to skin needling except that there a not as many needling channels created. There is also an RF treatment option available that is non invasive. Superficial fractional RF delivers the RF energy directly to the skins surface without the use of microneedles.
